Design-Build
We have completed many design-build projects, and find the process offers improved construction delivery and cost savings, especially when early assessment and input from key contractors is provided to the architects and engineers. We adhere to the principles of "Best Value" contracting as defined in the Performance Information Procurement System developed at Arizona State University, and as embraced by many federal government agencies, designers and contractors. Essentially, this system emphasizes "high-performance" contracting as the main pre-qualification evaluator over price alone, and has proven to provide the highest assurance of project success with the fewest change order conditions. Renovation & Restoration
Most of our projects have been in the renovation and restoration of existing facilities, where we have developed significant expertise. Many of these projects have been in hospital, research and laboratory environments where superior technical knowledge, safety, tenant considerations, and work proficiency are essential to project success. Willett has excelled in its performance of these projects, garnering many awards and testimonials. We employ a technically skilled workforce, well experienced in providing high quality installations. Additions & New Structures
Willett just completed building the new security entrance addition Screening Room at Building 503, Walter Reed Army Institute of Research. Willett also completed additions and renovations of 155 Army National Guard Training Barracks at Fort Stewart, Georgia, including new electrical service for each, new roofs, additions and complete renovations.
Electrical Contracting
We are a licensed electrical contractor and provide complete electrical contracting services. Our team has the experience to do each job efficiently, affordably and safely. Whether your commercial property needs renovations, code upgrades, reconstruction or maintenance on projects small to large, Willett’s electricians have the proven track record and expertise to do the job right. We pride ourselves on developing solutions to every electrical problem, from design to installation.
Painting & High-End Finishes
We perform standard painting as well as the application of high-end finishes, such as carpet-membrane and epoxy floor finishes. Willett is currently engaged in a long-term project in the Army/Naval Research Laboratory, Building 503 at WRAIR providing an array of painting and specialty finishes to ceilings, walls and floors. Willett has decades of experience in the application of various paints and finishes-- providing quality work at competitive prices.
Repair & Maintenance Contracting
Willett has a successful history of performing maintenance contracting, from our earliest contract (1990-1999) with the 2401 Pennsylvania Avenue Development Team to performing support of Demand Maintenance contracting to J&J World Wide Services, Inc. We have in-house capabilities to perform complete facility repair and maintenance contracting. We are able to respond quickly, and to execute the work promptly, with minimal interference to the tenants or facility.
