CIA, Langley, Virginia--Miscellaneous Repairs & Replace Pole Lighting at Parking Areas:
Contract to repair concrete light pole bases, replace exteror pole lights and fixtures with new, rewire, energize and test.
HUD Building, Washington, DC--"First Impressions" North & South Lobby Renovations:
Contract to provide architectural finishes, electrical, concrete upgrades, life safety site preparation.
WRAIR, Silver Spring, MD--Building 508, Wet-Tissue Laboratory:
Willett was awarded a prime a contract to complete the following work: Selective Demolition (including ducting, piping, electrical conduit), Architectural, Structural, Roofing, Firestopping, Blast Protection, Sprinkler Systems, Concrete Pads for New Mechanical Equipment, Exterior Wall Penetrations, Exterior Landscaping and Waste Disposal. Expected Completion-- June 2012.
WRAIR, Building 161:
Willett was selected and awarded a prime subcontract under this Congress-affiliated BRAC project entailing the relocation of the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology (AFIP) to Building 161 at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR) in Silver Spring, MD. Willett is performing all construction work except Mechanical & Plumbing. The project is a design-build and from the start Willett has been an integral part of the design-team, providing design solutions and value-engineering assistance. The work entails a complete “gut” of all interior finishes and most MEP systems; all New MEP, Structural, Life-Safety Systems, and Architectural finishes. The work area is approximately 18,000 SF and is to be completed on an accelerated schedule. Fast-track, Accelerated Schedule Completed On-TIme June 2011.
Bolling Air Force Base, Honor Guard Facility:
Willett was awarded a Prime Contract for the design and installation of a structural steel Mezzanine for the Honor Guard at Bolling Air Force Base. The award was made through a competitive HUBzone, RFP solicitation.
Secure Federal Government Facility:
Willett has contracted to perform renovation work at a secure government facility, including SCIF Room construction and renovation, within a fully-occupied and functioning facility.
WRAMC, Main Hospital Building:
Willett was awarded a contract at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington, DC, to furnish and install new Fire Doors, Frames and Hardware to upgrade the Fire/Life Safety Systems at the main hospital building.
VET Finishes, Building 503, WRAIR:
Within 100,000 SF of this 1.6MM SF research facility, Willett is upgrading architectural finishes, including millwork and installing liquid-membrane finishes to all walls and ceilings, and a ceramic carpet finish to all floors.
